Project Helios Prototype

PC quality graphics on a mobile device! Project Helios was an ambitious project which aimed to employ MEC based cloud rendering over 5G for mobile devices. The heart of this idea was to get all render processing done on the cloud and stream the frames in real time to mobile devices, thus reducing load on the device itself and providing PC level graphics at the same time.


I worked as a Technical Artist for this project and worked with the Art and UX team to develop a prototype that would showcase the differences that the MEC rendering would bring in an experience. This prototype was useful in providing a tangible goal for the development team and produce a visual respresentation of the idea in action for higher management as well.
