Be present at your favorite sports event, either at an exclusive VIP booth or right in the middle of the action... all from your couch!
Sports Lounge is an immersive virtual reality experience with an exquisite 3D lounge space designed by the 3d Art team surrounded by a live 360 video of a sporting event. In here, anyone can join a multiplayer session as avatars and watch the event via different perspectives (Lounge view, Stadium sideline or Field view) depending on how many 360 live streams are set up at the event. In addition we designed a number of activities in the lounge space for users to play around.
I worked as a developer for this project and was responsible for the multiplayer functionality, avatar controls, implementing 360 live stream video playback, and game development.
